In October 2002, I was tasked by my then Dean, the late Dr. Zainal Abidin Said, to set up a new journal for our School. After assembling the editorial team, we issued the ‘Call for Papers” for Labuan Bulletin of International Business and Finance. The response was good, and we selected six papers for the inaugural issue. During my term as Managing Editor, the journal has published volume 1(1), 1(2), 2(1) and 2(2).
